I finished a quilt top today. I think I done good.
Pumping them out seems like the best (and most fun) way to learn how to make quilts I like, so that’s what I’m trying to do.
The small pieces are from a book of coarse silk samples that I found in a dumpster outside an upholstery shop. I spent a lot of time soaking them and rubbing the paper labels off. The blue fabric with the flowers was a piece of cotton that was maybe one of those Japanese room divider curtains, and came from Urban Source, a factory seconds/recycling store in Vancouver. It’s a small queen size.
Don’t worry, I filled those corners right after I took this picture.
